FAQ / Promoters

How does it work?

Registered® is an event platform designed to promote participatory activities in the field of Sports and Performing Arts and to manage registrations and payments. Organizers can manage multiple events and unlimited registration forms. Each event has a landing page to access registration forms and proceed to immediate payment.

What type of activities can I manage on Registered®?

Registered® is designed to manage participatory activities in the field of sports and performing arts. By participatory activities we mean opportunities for people to practice or perform a specific discipline for learning, training, leisure or competition purposes. Such activities include for example classes, workshops, camps, championships, contests or tournaments.

How do I publish Events and Registration Forms?

Once you create an account you can publish an event through the “Add Event” option in your dashboard and you can add registration forms through the “Add Form” option (please note that the “Add Form” option is available once your account info is complete. To complete your account please go to My Account and provide info required in the Account Settings and Bank Account sections). What type of registrations can I manage?

Registered® is designed to manage registrations and payments for sports and performing arts, with particular focus on:
  • Individual registrations
  • Group registrations (for groups or teams)

How does the registration process work?

A user can select the preferred registration option from the event landing page. Each participant has to fill a registration form and complete payment by credit, debit or prepaid card. Standard personal and contact information are mandatory for both the registrant (the person completing the registration procedure online) and participants (individuals or group/team members). Registration forms can be customized to respond to most common requirements for sports and performing arts.

Can I set participation criteria? Like Age or number of Participants?

Of course! Registered® allows organizers to set key parameters for each registration form, including
  • Start/end date for registrations (automatic activation/deactivation of registration forms based on specific dates)
  • Age parameters (set accepted birthdates to restrict participation for specific age requirements)
  • Number of group members (set minimum/maximum number of members per each groups)

Can I customize required information?

Sure! Beside standard personal and contact information Registered® allows organizers to request more specific information in the registration form including:
  • Tax ID (ask participants to provide their TAX ID)
  • Association/Federation (ask participants to name any entity they are affiliated to)
  • Membership Number (ask participants to provide the membership number of their affiliation)
  • Nickname (ask participants to provide their nickname or competitive identity)
To display those fields in the registration form, just toggle them while adding a form (you can also toggle them at a later stage using the Edit feature). Visit our Youtube channel for video tutorials on how to add events, add individual forms and group forms.

Can I set registration fees either per person or per group?

Yes! Registered® lets organizers handle registration fees according to their promotional needs:
  • For individual registrations you just need to set a per-person fee.
  • For group registrations you can choose between a per-person fee (total amount depends on the number of members) or a per-group fee (a fixed flat fee for the group not depending on the number of members).
  • Additional settings also include Fee by Date (to set multiple prices depending on the calendar) and Discount Codes (to offer a discounted fee for a limited amount of time).

How do I manage communication with Participants?

Following a successful registration, notification emails are sent both to the participant and the organizer for confirmation. Organizers receive participants’ contact information and viceversa. Registered also allows the organizers to customize the subject of the confirmation email and the welcome message sent to the participant (including  links to external resources, like additional documentation or a live stream url for online activities).

How do I monitor registrations and payments I receive?

Once you create an account with Registered® you can access your Dashboard to monitor events and use the following functions:
  • Publish/edit/delete events and registration forms
  • Monitor registrations and payments
  • Export lists of participants for each event (as .xls or .csv files)
  • Edit account and payout details

When do I receive my money?

When a payment is completed, registration fees are automatically lined up and redirected to your bank account on a weekly basis. An automatic payout is scheduled every Monday, depending on the bank it may take 1/2 days for the transfer to show up on your bank account. You can always monitor the status of registrations and payments received in your Dashboard.

How much does it cost?

Nothing! Registered® is free for Organizers and there’s no hidden fees to use the service. By the way, a service fee of 0,50€ + 2,5% on top of the registration fee is applied to participants at checkout for paid activities (while no service fee is charged for free activities).

How can I promote my events on Registered®?

Registered® helps organizers advertise activities and make them stand out! Thanks to our social commerce integrations, all activities published via Registered are automatically available for purchase in our shops on Facebook, Instagram*, Snapchat*, TikTok*, WhatsApp, so more people can find them and purchase participation right away! On top of this, when you create an event the system generates a custom link to the event landing page that you can share on your emails, social pages, newsletter or website. The link is optimized for social sharing with a preview image and an introductory text. *coming soon

Can I create an account as Organizer?

We currently accept Organizers based in the following European countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. What do I need to create an account as Organizer?

Only individuals and legal entities from specific European countries are entitled to create an account on Registered at this time. The list includes Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. Payments can be collected in 32 European countries in 11 different currencies (BGN / CHF / CZK / EUR / DKK / GBP / HUF / NOK / PLN / RON / SEK).  By providing basic info organizers can create an account and publish activities in the calendar right away. However, in order to receive registrations and payments, organizers will be asked to provide additional personal information as well as contact and banking details. Businesses and Associations will be also required to provide additional documentation regarding the legal entity and its owners/members.

What about Privacy?

Our data treatment is compliant with the GDPR framework. Promoters are in control of participants’ data as Data Controllers, while Registered operates as a Data Processor, passing data to Promoters while collecting registrations and payments.

Is Registered® safe?

It’s all about this. Payments are processed through our PSP partner Stripe using enforced KYC (Know-Your-Customer) procedures, PSD2-compliant payment standards and SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) protocols: we automatically route payments to the Promoter’s bank account and we don’t hold your registration fees.

Is Registered® a ticket seller?

No. We do not sell tickets for live events. Registered operates in the field of registrations to participatory activities and it is designed to manage registrations for learning activities (i.e. courses, classes, workshops, camps) and competitions (i.e. tournaments, contests, challenges, series). On Registered we present activities to practice or perform a specific discipline in the field of sports and performing arts.
